I framed my first piece ever yesterday. Thanks to Liz and Matt for kicking ass and teaching me how to do it proper. Woulda just tacked it to the wall otherwise.
I am so proud of how that came out! It's hanging at the 707 Penn Gallery from this Saturday until June 27. Way cool.

I am registered for a half-a-summer of class. The last class ever.
Got some grades back. I managed to get a B in 312, for which I am beyond thrilled. I poured ever so many hours into that class, and it's nice to see that pay off. There have been very few classes from which I've learned so much - I really wish I was going to be doing a lot more PL stuff in the future. Maybe I still will - no clue.
The summer plan is a whole lot of Bearded Studio. And a whole lot of self-directed projects. 3-4 days of Bearded a week, with 2 days of my own shit, and I'll get so much done. Maybe I'll even finish my own website (to appease @mattt).
Super exciting times.

Thanks to Photo Depot out in Leetsdale, I can shoot color film and have it processed in the city. Freaking sweet. Took a bunch of Diana film over; super pleased. *Super* cheap.
Oh. My basement is still creepy. In case anyone had any doubts otherwise.

I don't really use Livejournal all that much anymore. Maybe it's time to let it die. It's at least useful for commenting on people's things once in a while, and keeping up with far-away folk.
Here's one of the sets I did for SCIENCE WONDER LIES early this semester. It was way fun. The others came out good too, but I still need to edit them down to a manageable size.
I need a new project. The one I just did was no good at all. It did get me all revved up for collages though.

- Walked down to the bakery for a fresh baguette and cheese. I missed the Europe-diet.
- Played with ether on Polish Hill
- Discovered a hobo village
- Found some (wild?) turkeys enjoying a fine corn on the cob
- Figured out the rest of my photo project *finally*. Urban ruin hurray.

Went to Chicago on a purely decadent whim last night. It was classy as hell sneaking into the Green Mill. Astral Project was *great*, as always. Thanks a lot, V - keep on proving that I'm easily suggestible and nostalgic. Got to harass Emmy and Libby too; that's always a plus.
There was a show Friday!! It was tons of fun! Mark Stehlik came and bullshitted with us for a few hours. Gotta get Jamie and Martin and Mark Perrott in there tomorrow. Pictures of the show forthcoming.

So. Combinatorics is/was killing me. In that it wasn't getting done. Because 312 was getting done. And one was more interesting than the other. WAAAAY more interesting. [add: Not sarcastically. I think it's a load of fun. In exactly the way that Combi wasn't]
Still gonna walk in May. Get my diploma in August. Not bad for all the not-CS I've spent a huge amount of the last four years doing.
